		<description>Thank you for a great new insight on my 28mm photographic tool (sigma dp1). I neglected it because I think I liked 40, 50 or even 90mm better. 

After reading this, I feel a bit foolish, I too took some nice scenic views using the 28mm, but now I see a complete new set of images coming from it, now out onto the streets to think contextual!

I like this article.  Your lexical distinctions are great.  If everything was named based on its function, instead of its market ploy we would live in a very different world.  Gas powered cars would probably be called something like, &quot;Exploiting the third world and natural resources in five gears or automatic as a rolly status symbol for those living above the poverty line.&quot;  

Wide angle lenses can be very tricky to shoot.  When I started using the 15mm Voigtlander, I took terrible pictures for months.  Finding a foreground and background that were unified was challenging.  Once I got the hang of it, the lens was great, but you are right, the name is deceptive.
